Shadow Cursed Lands or Moonrise towers?
I have completed most of act 1, not too much of the underdark but im about lvl 6 and a half. I've come across two entrances that would take me to the moonrise towers, one right next to where we meet the dragon rider that laezel worships, the second in the underdark. But i just found an entrance to something called the shadow cursed lands, and it also gives me the "no turn back" kinda thing the other two gave me. So im just not sure where to go at this point because i dont want to miss out on stuff.

FYI the moon rise tower is in the shadow cursed land.
And entering the cursed land is the start of act 2.

So if you want to explore the rest of act 1,then do that first.

Both are leading towards the same area :spacehamster:

What you're describing is a mountain pass to the cursed lands, it's entire 3rd area in act 1, it's optional, but better to visit it instead of going to Moonrise in Underdark

The bridge near the dragon rider does not directly lead to the shadow cursed lands. It first leads to an area called the mountain pass, and it is part of act 1.

Go to the Lae'zel bridge first, Mountain Pass, that is still Act 1, as stated above.

I found going through the underdark was more convenient because i found the last light inn a lot easier the first time. personal preference

From my understanding OP didn't even enter Mountain Pass at all yet, so it is not about what way is better, it is about not skipping a big part of Act 1.
It's also entirely possible to go back into the Mountain pass/grymforge from the SCL is it not?

Probably yes, but you wouldn't go there if you didn't know it exists.
