Nudist Playthrough Challenge?

Have any of you attempted a nudist playthrough?

I gather it would be quite difficult, since you could wear no armor, helmet, gloves or boots.

Just how difficult would this make the game and how would you approach it?

Well, you can technically just hide your armor then wear no clothing. Boom, bonus of armor. And none of the covering

No, that would defeat the challenge.

I am talking about you get no armor, no gloves. no boots, no helmets. You have to try to beat the game nude.

Bonus if the game lets you steal the clothing off of the NPCs and make them naked too.

Eh, probably difficult but a wizard should be able to do it. Spells that naturally add AC will be useful

I am thinking maybe druid and shapeshifting? Or some spells give you a minimum AC regardless of armor, yes?

How would you build an entire party to not use any armor, boots, gloves or helmets and yet still be effective?

Nah it's wouldn't be that difficult at all. There's jewelry and weapons which aren't on his list. Plus buff spells and elixirs. Now if he did this on honor mode there might be a bit of a challenge, but he'd just try to overlevel everything as much as possible anyway.

BTW, in your challenge, are you letting characters keep their camp clothes on?

I ask, because there are some mods that let you wear underwear that gives you godlike abilities, and I'm willing to take your challenge with nothing but that.

For reasons I'm unclear on, seems to me devas when summoned are wearing nothing but underwear when they appear. No wonder Shadowheart likes summoning them. Heh.

Incidentally, there is a way to make all NPCs nude too, but that takes another mod. Has a lot of downloads on Nexus, funny thing, heh heh.

Idk with monks, or barbarian, the downside is no buffs from certain effects but you could get unarmoured defense quite high still. However if Jewelry is still allowed, and items that don't cover like circlets? Perhaps, I could see it as possible at the very least

No haven't done that as a challenge, but my orc barbarian ran around nude for the first 4 or 5 levels, just because.

Between Dragonborn Sorcerer, Monk, Barbarian, and Mage Armor, I don't think it would be too bad.

I use some mods that add more Bracers of Defense-like gear, but I generally prefer armor-less builds, in both this and tabletop.

Play Monk or Barbarian for Unarmored Defense.

If you play with mods, download the Bladesinger subclass, play as a Bladesinger/Monk, and increase your Dex, Int and Wis until your AC is high enough.

So I'm thinking

1 Monk (Naked player character)
1 Barbarian (Naked Karlach)
1 Sorceror with Mage Armour always on. (Naked Wyl)
1 ..... what else? Maybe a Cleric? (Naked Shadowheart)

I think I will try this combo and see how it goes.

Trivia: the camp party people running around naked makes sense, as their camping clothes adds weight but no other benefits...
