BG3 for Real Gamers?
A lot of my friends recommended BG3 to me and said it's a great game with a deep/complex storyline and good challenge.

I watched some gameplay footage on YT though and the combat seems a little slow-paced and also pretty easy. Is that true?

As a Real Gamer it's really important to me that the fights are actually difficult and provide a good challenge. Are there different difficulties in this game and if so, does the highest one provide a decent challenge? Thanks in advance.

lol "real gamer". A real gamer wouldn't have written this thread.
No, there's no real difficulty yet.

The opposite of a casual gamer. Someone who takes gaming seriously and is looking for an actual challenge.

A "real gamer" would already know the answer to your ridiculous question though. Because a real gamer knows how to google and ♥♥♥♥.

It's a decent challenge in honor mode.

This may seem off topic but since you brought up "True Gamer" you should consider doing yourself a favor and drop from the PC Gaming magazine group. Pure trash articles now days from what it seems like not even people who play games. It's not even worth wasting brain cells on. But that's just me.

BG3 has a secret challenge for real Real Gamers, in act 1 find the red dragon and kill it. its the start of challenge mode. everyone is currently doing it as Larian made sure that if you kill it, it unlocks a secret story path thats extremely rewarding and challenging.

Ooooo... "Real Gamer"! In capitals, no less.

"Real Gamers" don't dictate what real games or real gamers can be.

Have fun in your sweaty PVP lobbies or whatever it is you do, Real Gamer.

It's easy if you have 1337 dice rolling skillz. Difficult if you are a l4m3 n00b at dice rolling

Real Gamer, why take the word of randos on the internet, if you can't trust your friends? Weird.

Spoiler:
A lot of people here will recommend BG3 to you and say it's a great game with a deep/complex storyline and good challenge.
