Discord notifications keep minimizing BG3

Until recently, I have not had many issues with BG3 since it went into full release. Now, all of a sudden, every time I get any kind of notification on Discord or any other notification on my PC, BG3 will immediately minimize. Is there some kind of option I can check off so that this doesn't happen, and has this happened to anyone else?

You running Windows 10 or 11?
As far as BG3 you could try playing in Fullscreen instead of window or borderless window.

Windows 11 and I play in fullscreen

I was able to fix this by setting my game to borderless window mode. Still, makes me wonder why it was doing it in fullscreen....

dunno, but my keyboard has a 'game mode' button that prevents this. I have no idea what it tells windows to make that happen.

I know this is an old post, but have you tried turning in-game overlay off in discord? I started getting this issue with Helldivers 2 and thought it was just an issue with that game until notifications started minimizing FF14 (I decided to pick it back up this month) as well.

I can't confirm this is the problem, but so far it has fixed it with the two games I mentioned. I found this post while searching for a fix, and thought I'd share what I found so far.
