Which unfortunately, as he quite clearly tells you, CANNOT "save" her completely, just postpones her fate. And lets her touch people without burning them.
I dislike axes, barbarians, and fratboys, in that order. Karlach is evidence that the devs are out to get me.
Depending on how you view it, there ARE two ways to "save" her but personally I see neither as happy endings, but maybe necessary ones. The rest is spoilers.
