Number of uses Circlet of Blasting

So, it doesn’t say anywhere in the description… with an item like the Circlet of Blasting, which lets you cast scorching ray, how many uses do you get between tests? In general with these permanent worn items, or staffs, etc how many uses do you get? Again, it doesn’t say… just says you can cast it.

As a general rule, it's once per long rest. Try it and see.

Once you equip it, the icon will show up in the 'common' section of the action bar UI. If you have scorching ray learned as a wizard (for example) that will show up in the 'wizard' section of the action bar UI. They will be different icons. Mouse over the icon and it will state it's cooldown/refresh (once per long rest, once per short rest, once per turn, etc...) as all abilities do.

Thank you! Oh, I was also wondering, which ability score will the item use for the attack roll. Since this is both a Wizard and a Sorcerer spell, then could you use either depending on your class, or is there a specific ability score?
