This game is for 15-16 year olds
They should have done DOS3 but yet again greed and marketing took over.

If Larian had put their efforts in their own system DOS they would have made much more enjoyable game than this.

This is not Baldur's Gate by any standard. This is basically a colorful childish rpg for 15-16 year old. The same mistake Bioware made with Dragon Age 2 and 3 and went out of business and Larian will likely follow the same

You'd know if you actually owned / played it.

15-16 years old don't know much about D&D or Baldur's Gate to begin with and clearly don't have the partience to play these kind of games.

When you're wrong, you're wrong.

Doesn't own game, opinion revoked

All other nonsense aside, Bioware is not out of business. :steamhappy:

How concerned I am that Dragon Age 4 may not come out before Star Citizen is complete, is a separate question. "LOL".

The game is cheap copy of Bioware Dragon Age Origins, with all the models and colorful childish cinematics for age 15-16, except that Bioware made a remarkable revolution in the mechanics which many games follow to this day, while BG3 is cheap copy of D&D rules in bizarre turn based setting. The result is catastrophic boring game. It is not coincidence that they worked on it for so long in episodes because it was so lame and was not selling well.

Finally they spent millions on marketing to launch it, including for influencers on the internet. Still terrible work.

Such a waste, by this time they could have made DOS4 at this point. I don't think they even working on DOS 3 because they got so bogged down by D&D. Larian is over as a studio, misallocation of resources

bro i am 23 and i don't understand the game lmao. the game for for 30-40 age range more than anything. and people that age are playing lol, valorant and league and fortnite and so on. i don't see how that age range would ever care to play this game.

i think the game is ok but there is a lot of info missing for new players of rpgs so its kind of hard to get into but its nice to put it on easy to enjoy the game better compared to like elden ring where theres a massive learning curve. this game is all info based.

I think TTRPG knowledge also helps, as I have some and I'm in early 20's. And was able to pick up the game pretty quickly
I don't use all the mechanics admittedly, such as elixirs. But yeah, I think the only highschool freshmen playing this are the already social outcasts who just cant find a dnd session. That, or they can't afford all the books because jesus
♥♥♥♥ can be expensive

Bioware isn't out of business, what the ♥♥♥♥ are you talking about? And EA was Bioware's "mistake". Now, whether they're still a HEALTHY company is another matter. But they are still running as of right now and actively developing a new Mass Effect game.

And, no, this game isn't for 15-16 year olds, as is evident by the 18+ rating. I don't know what the ♥♥♥♥ you think "colorful" has to do with anything. I guess colors are only for kids these days? XD

Bad opinion kiddo.
LordOfTheBread Jan 5, 2024 @ 8:47pm
It is pointless to argue with someone that is clearly here to tray (and failing horribly) trashing the game knowing next to nothing about it.

I don't even know what games 15-16yo plays these days.Fortnite? LoL?

Larian finally understood what other "top" studios understood long ago. It is all about marketing and influencers even if your game plays like and feels like trash
vapechimp Jan 5, 2024 @ 8:53pm
Because the nowadays gamers are typical consumerists on the market. Give me something even if it is trash. Larian understood the money game. Marketing and influencers for a trash car. Almost sounds like Ford commercial

Sweetie, if you don't like the game that's fine. But accept the fact that it's not a matter of "everyone who disagrees with you is wrong". Your opinions are yours. Go spend your time playing a game you enjoy rather than ♥♥♥♥ talking here. Or do one better, get out of mommy's basement for a while and get some sunlight. You're not getting your jesters, move along.
While you're right, BG3 is a game for 15-16 yr olds, it's also a game for 14 yr olds and 17 yr olds, as well as 13 yr olds and 18 yr olds.

To hell with 32 yr olds though, they're not invited.

It's an M rated game that contains nudity, sex, and gore. It's not meant for anyone under 17. >.>
