Unpopular opinion: Raphael
"Raphael's final act" is extremely cheesy and and detracts from what is otherwise an epic fight. If they had just done it instrumentally and focused on that excellent pipe organ it would have been better.

Devils in the Hells (and all outsiders on their own plane) when killed, cease to exist.

JMHO:

If you get the Raphael ending where you give him the Crown, you realize just how much he's a threat to ... existence.

Sarevok singing would be cheesy since he cares only to butcher people. Raphael singing Is in character, he loves to entertain and to please people. He Is a lawful character, too bad he deal with the unpredictable son of Bhaal.
No idea how he manages to survive when killed in hell.

He doesn't survive. Or at least I didn't get him in the epilogue when I killed him (I know he can show up to be annoying in the epilogue in other scenarios).

Yeah, he’s just a bland villain as well on top of the crap musical is my take.

From the very start there’s nothing there – he’s obvious, silly, camp, ridiculous, florid.

The epitome of ‘moustache-twirly’ villain.

It’s too boring for me amigo – way, way too boring. I can’t sit through a whole narrative with dialogue like that and not want to skip it all.

Sure, fantasy is known as a thrash-y genre that doesn’t have much depth to its simplistic good/bad characters – but look at batman the animated series: it had actually complex ‘fantasy’ villains, with interesting backstories – and it was made for children.

Funny, I thought the Raphael theme song was one of the high points of the game myself, and very in-character with Larian's usual writing: even when they're trying to be totally serious about having a fight the the literal Devil, they still put in something as silly as a Disney song while he is setting you on fire.

Oh Larian, never change.

It fits his character perfectly. Sorry you don't know how to have fun. When is the surgery to have the stick removed? ;)

He should disappear but he Is alive if you make Gale a god. It wasn't like that two months ago.

Needed some shia laboeuf dancers tbh
The best detail is that if you cast Silence on him he actually stops singing!

Really? Wow that actually is pretty neat. There are a lot of great details and "I can't believe they thought of that" moments in this game.

Yeah, and the music keeps playing. This implies that the actual in-game character is singing and it's not just a soundtrack thing. I mean, you Silence him, he stops singing, but you can still hear the instrumentals to the song! How cool is that?

I beg to differ, Raphael is an evil bard and i cant be convinced otherwise, his singing fits so well

You should get the game pulled off your steam library for this take. Absolute crime against humanity

Well in my september playthrough my party nuked him whilst he was singing and he kept singing after that for a short while. Guess its called agonal singing?

He's positively ancient, so he's had all the time in the world to explore hobbies or be trained in whatever strikes his fancy. :D

Well... assuming that he's not lying about witnessing Karsus's Folly, that is. If he's being truthful about that, he's over 1800 years old.
