The first hardest part for a decission in the game.... *spoiler*
Hi,

Im 47 hours in and still in act 1. I did everything - underark too and Im at the mountain pass now. From time to time I take a look in a walkthrough to make sure I make the right decission... I know its not meant to be played like this but its my way :-)

I have to make a decission now and I dont know which way to go. I dont want to give the inquisitor the artefact. My guardian warns me to do so. Laezel wants me to show the artifact and when I do her queen come out. Ive read that I need to kill my guardian in the end for the first decission and for the other decission I will loose Laezel in my party (she is also my romance) and that would be very hard for me to fight without her and I like her a lot. When she is gone I could take Karlach in my group... but... what should I do....

The right decisions are the decisions your character would make. Stop following walkthroughs and guides. Trust me, you don't need them.

I've never romanced Lae'zel, but I've never had a problem keeping her in my party and loyal even though I refuse to kill the Guardian. She and my PC became very close friends and allies. But to do this, I passed the Wisdom check with the Zaithisk to show her that it was meant to kill her. She then believes me when I tell her that these Gith can't be trusted. I got a little disapproval bump when refusing but since my approval was already very high it's not a problem at all.

So when do I loose her at this point I am right now? She told me she will follow my lead. And somebody mentioned when you come back after you talked to the guardian the whole Gith will turn to enemies. Will Laezel kill me then?

You can agree to give the artifact and go meet with your Guardian in the Astral Prism without killing them. Lae'zel will complain but won't turn hostile. Whether or not you kill the Guardian there will be a fight with the Giths when you return from the Astral Plane.

After talking with the Guardian in the prism, if you refuse to kill him/her, let Lae'zel see what happened by using her connection through the tadpole. She'll be angsty but won't abandon you. All the other Gith in the place will turn hostile, and Lae'zel will be pissed off at them more than at you. She has no problem killing the Gith because she thinks they deserve it for turning against her.

Thank you all

One question: I did everything you said. But after the Gith and the inquisator turned hostile and I killed them it is necessary to kill everybody in the Gith base or can I just teleport me out in a different area and never coming back. But otherwise the loot must be huge if I kill everybody because everybody turned hostile to me.... What do you suggest?

Ok I just realized that I cannot teleport. :-) I have to manually walk out

Show it or don't show it, the end result is the same. (I have done it both ways) They have it where either way you choose it "merges" back to fit main story line.

The "fast travel" is disabled and the Gith base is a red zone once you leave the Inquisitor's room, yeah. But I have good news, kill the one Gith archer blocking the exit, and you will get to a part of the base where "fast travel" is working again.

Point being, yes, all Gith in the base are now hostile, but no, you don't have to slaughter your way out. Don't try going back to the Gith merchant - she's hostile to you now.

Sorry. I have to ask again. I killed a lot of Gith now and I could walk outside the backdoor and leave the others alive. Should I or should I clear out all Gith in the area?

I did already. But I wasnt in the area with the egg and not in the area where the doctor was. Should I kill everyone for the EXP or leave it be....?= I dont know what Laezel is thinking about if I kill everybody or if Im going to need a NPC for futher things... but they are hostile anyway....

Edit: I mean Nurse area not Training room

Personally I don't clear out the creche after that bc my characters are always half dead atp, but the Blood of Lathander is an optional quest there as well

I don't think that Lae'zel cares at all at this point. But some of the fights are really hard (at least they seemed to me), so I wouldn't necessarily try to kill everyone. You don't need the XP if you are playing on balanced difficulty.

Alright. I did the Blood of Lathander before everybody turned hostile. I play on balance diff but I give it a try to kill everybody for the loot and the gold :-)
