I recommend buying it on Playstation 5 though based on what you wrote.
Of course there is. The only limitation is that you need controllers for split-screen game, but it works on a PC just fine.
I mean, for some people needing to use 2 controllers when you only own a PC and not a console can be an issue. And I was talking about split screen on PC, so you are using just one device. Where you have it and if you sit on chairs or on couch is a different story.
'Family Share' means that multiple people can access the game. However, only ONE person can access the Share Library at a time. So, it won't work for you and your significant other to play together.
On PC, you would need two Steam Accounts and each would have to have BG3 purchased on their account. Then you would use standard BG3 Multi-Player, not Family Share.
