What is your method for honor mode?
I just kill everyone before they have a chance to speak. No risk of failing a check and having them go hostile in close quarters, you get exp, you can systematically sneak about large groups and pick them off one by one.

Spec all the hirelings and one person at camp as life Clerics and have them prebuff my team with everything they've got after every long rest.

On my run, unless the enemies were hostile already, I initiated combat through dialogue but pre-buffed myself before doing so if it was a boss or some tough fight. Honour mode still isn't so difficult that you would need to cheese things.

Relying on the builds to survive and thrive.

Strikers:
1 - fighter/paladin,
2 - rogue/monk

Crowd control and nukers:

3 - fighter/warcock/sorcerer
4 - cleric/bard

Finding pretty much every encounter in Honor mode to be beatable and only lvl 4 so far. No need to slice through convos or anything.

Im kinda just playing it through as i normally would, except with maybe a bit more caution and pre planning my approach to fights sometimes but not that often, IMO honour mode is the most fun ive had in BG3.

I just went with every character at 16 dex. Kill them before they kill you.

Mountains of corpses and a nice glass of red wine, went dark urge on my recent attempts and seems to go smoother hit a snag and starting over has a sorc this time though instead of a thief the last fights is looking tougher with less allies though so may not be has kill happy with this urge

Has anyone done an honour run solo while also initiating conversations? I think OP is running solo, and picking people off with the broken stealth system seems to be the main way to do a solo honour run.

Prepare, walk in, hope for the best, win(so far.. on my way to gortash and orin... titan steel watcher, inquisitor and grym were really close calls).

Just spam minions. Every character can have one of each summon which is MOSTLY undead/elemental. Pair your minions with a Cleric and upcast 'Aid' which buffs them to have ~30hp each (undead skelly archer for example). Now you've got meat shields to tank a lot of damage for you. The Necromancy of Thay book can give a minion summon spell which is an easy +4 minions. Scratch ALSO counts for the buff. Buy every minion summon scroll you see and use them for bosses as needed. I had spares by endgame.

Character-wise try to get high AC + Initiative, Main stat > con > dex and nothing else really matters. There's two gloves in the game that can set Dex to 18 or Str to 23. So you could reroll out of those stats and get higher alternatives. There's also a necklace that sets Con to 23. End of day all my characters were at 20+ AC with ~160+ health (feast buff + aid upcast) and would be the first to go in every fight.

Ah yes Aid + minions can give your party 100s of extra HP.

You can concentration buff long rest spell durations on your character and remove caster from party and still keep the effect? Is this a viable thing?
