My memory bad or is just Honor Mode thing?

So doing my first Honor Run, in the Underdark talked to Derryth to sell junk, I see she has a Purple Ring, it is the Caustic band, and is 1700ish gold. On my tactician run which wasn't that long ago coulda sworn was just green and no more than like 250ish gold. So is it like title says, is my memory bad or is this just for Honor mode? Does nothing new either same 2 acid dmg. lol

its definitely a green item if its the one im thinking of, adds 2 acid damage to weapon attacks?

It was changed to a *very rare* item and they cost more and sell for more.

Yes that is the one. As Badurs_Gate_2 mentions above it is now a Very Rare item.
Just wasn't sure if my memory was off, good to know it wasn't lol.

It's an Honour Mode thing.

A lot of the better gear in the earlier acts had a rarity upgrade and became way more expensive in Honour Mode; the returning pike is another high profile example. It threw me off pretty bad to; I was completely broke for most of acts 1 and 2.
