Can I Romance Shadowheart and The Guardian in the same time?
I've been searching for some answer
i got 2 answer which is
1. It is possible to have 2 romance companion
2. Only Halsin(?) that allows having 2 partner(?)
which is kinda bollocks for me if u can make the feature of having more than 1 love partner but that only works with one character only

You can romance only one (unless you will use mods). Some companions will accept a third person company in spicy scenes, but when it comes to actual declaration of love/etc. It can only be offered to one.

However only your playable companions are "true" romances. Everyone else (Guardian, Mizora, Haarlep, etc) are more "platonic" and are not really acknowledged. At worst your companions will disapprove and give some comments about this but it will not lock you out of their romances.

Why would you want to romance a purple octopus? Because that's what the guardian is.

I did it with Karlach and she didn't mind. Shadowheart is not monogamous at all, so I'm sure she'd be fine.

Even Lae'zel? My assumption with Lae'zel was that she would be having none of that.

u should tag it as spoiler in case any people who don't know came across u know
but anyway u ask why?
well first, because i think when we prompted to crated your guardian i think taht it's their "Real Body" even if it was centuries ago before the transformation, eventhough it IS now an Octopus, but I think it's kinda funnt where we prompted to and force to remember them as a "Character that u made" not as an Octopus,
and second, I think it would be funny interaction just like when we first asked Gale "U ♥♥♥♥♥♥ A MAGICAL GOD?"

"Real body". Uhhh... no. You get flashbacks of what the real body was like after the big reveal and depending on choices you can see what your companions' dream visitors looked like.

As for the OP's original question:

You can sleep with/romance multiple characters until Act 2 where you have to lock into one. If you completed Halsin's quest he'll hit you up for Act 3. Only 2 companions are willing to allow him into the relationship. One of which is Shadowheart. Everyone else will break up with you if you push it. You will not become a throuple because he'll break things off at the end of the game, leaving you only with your intended partner, unless you break things off with said partner prior in which he'll become monogamous.

The dream visitor is a full wham bam thank you m'am that does not break off any romances and has no romantic future together.

In short, no real polyromances. Just a third "allowed in to spice things up".

So, a few things. OK, will use spoiler tags.

1. There is no Guardian romance. IMHO, there is an attempt by the Emperor to seduce you, but it has no real consequence. He says he wants to be closer to you. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Never speaks about it ever again, never changes his interactions with you. He says he's lonely over losing Duke Stelmane. Yeah, long before the Bhaalists murdered her, HE mentally incapacitated her, something you can force him to reveal. It won't have an effect on your romance with SH or any other companion - it took place in the Astral Plane (and in your psyche) so they don't even know about it.

2. About poly in general, some companions are a bit more open to it, like Halsin, some less so, in the end the game can have only one romance ending, so at some point in Act 3 all of them will ask you to make a commitment (or not). Unless polyamory mod. I don't even think that can give you multiple romance endings. That would even look a little weird if it did.

3. As far as other "dalliances," romancees will be OK with it or not and react depending on who they are. It's not true sleeping with Mizora has no consequence. Depends on who your romancee is. Also, there are different reactions to engaging with the Drow Twins. Some will say yes, some will say not my cup of tea, some will get upset you did it.

IMHO, once again, Mizora isn't even really physically having sex with you, she's just projecting visions of pleasure and torment into your mind and soul.
