32:9 monitor, but a 16:9 or 21:9 game resolution fix?
Hello, I have a 32:9 monitor but I'd like to play in 21:9 resolution because 32:9 is just too big for me, but when I try a 21:9 or 16:9 resolution, the game is rendered in that resolution, but stretched across the whole screen. the only way it works is in windowed mode, but then I gotta deal with the taskbar and hide it and it's annoying.
most games usually just put a black box around the game and render in lower resolution without stretching.
it's kinda weird that I can't find anyone else complain about this problem.
is there a fix for this?

so I still haven't found a fix.

This aspect ratio is non-standard. I'd wager less than 1% of all users on Steam have it, and many have just learned to deal with the fact that a lot of software doesn't support it.

That's why you're not finding other people complaining about this.

I'd check mods for a possible fix. That's usually where fixes for this particular problem (non-standard aspect ratios) come from.

Have you tried using Integer Scaling in nvidia CP? AMD also has something similar..
