what is she TALKING about?

This is admittedly probably a really dumb question, but I can't figure it out. I keep walking into a room, and then the narrator will say something like, "There's something in that vessel. Check it out." And for the life of me I can't figure out what it is she's talking about. Is there a way to get it to highlight what she means?

The voice is referring to a mind flayer parasite being nearby. Sometimes the game will also trigger a map ping to draw your attention to it, but it seems inconsistent.

On a side note: that is usually the Guardian who says that. Not the narrator.
