And like magic, your problems are solved!
Having said that i am using mods. Ones that i can confirm work fine as of right now:
-Appearance edit enhanced
-Basket of equipment
-Tav’s hair salon
-All the new head models seem to work (vemperen’s other heads, themia’s sister, krayn’s head)
-Bags bags bags (don’t use book bag)
-Better containers
-No alphabets
-Sussur bow
-Scantily camp outfits
-Dwarf beards
Those are enough for now imho
yes i am! but thank you, im going to check once again if everythings alright with the mod manager
yes i did, it pointed an error in KERNELBASE.dll and BG3ModManager.exe. i tried searching and following instructions for KERNELBASE.dll, such as verifying the hard drive and using commands in cmd, etc, but it didnt worked for me. a person commented about mod manager in this section, so im going to search further about it to see what i can find:)
i checked for both updates and bugs within the mods and everything seemed alright, and as i said i don't use that many, but thanks a lot! i'll definetely uninstall everything if there's really no way out:)
i would also like to point out that i've came to delete a few mods (im almost sure i did it correctly), and don't know if that may contribute to any of this, but before deleting some of them it had a crash in a cutscene. then the game runned just fine for hours (i had also searched for other things that may have caused the crash and followed tutorials for a bunch of them), but as soon as i got out of a sort of underground cave with my party and clicked to save, it has crashed ever since. i cannot save the game in any way and tried sooo many times to do so
If you delete mods in the middle of your playthrough it can cause a lot of problems depending on the mod
At this point with that dll issue I would just start fresh bro
do you happen to know if restauring the mods i deleted can have some effect? but ty im not that long in the game yet so starting fresh luckily wont be a burden lolzz
I guess it depends on the mod but if it is a mod type that is prone to issues it usually some parts of it get baked into your save and just cease to function properly, so it just crashes when it can’t compete whatever it was doing
Sometimes you can get around it by selling or destroying anything in game from that mod before you remove the mod, but not always. Again it depends what it is.. things with scripts are going to be problematic but aesthetics like a new face model for your character would probably be fine as long as you swapped to another face before you removed the mod
When you install a mod mid-playthrough that you haven’t used before, back up your save first and then test it right away and check the mod’s bug page and comments for users having problems.
