Sneak attack and dread ambusher compatibility

I am planing to multiclass ranger 11 (Gloom Stalker) with rogue 1 to get sneak attack, but i dont know if sneak attack is compatible with dread ambusher. So if it is the first turn of the combat; ambush dread extra damage and sneak attack damage (if applicable ) will both hit?

From what I know it is compatible but not worth it.

Keep in mind: Sneak Attack scales with the class level of Rogue. At level 1 Rogue you just have the weakest form of Sneak Attack.

I am not sure you would want to give up a feat for a low damage sometimes available attack.

Might also want to research Ranger a bit and see if you REALLY want to put so many levels into it rather than do a stronger multi-class build. :)

Should work fine if the conditions are met, but it's only an extra 1d6 damage with one rogue level that could be put to use elsewhere, tbh.

You'll want at least 3-5 rogue levels, maybe more, to make it worth it

You should put at least three levels into Rogue to take the Assassin subclass.

Or, better, take 9 levels of Rogue (Assassin) and only 3 levels of Ranger (Gloomstalker) for the biggest Sneak Attack possible. Or I guess 8/4 if you really need all 3 ASI/feats.

That's what I would do at least. In fact, I'm doing it right now
