Need help with romancing.

Might of gotten stuck in a love triangle with Lae’zel and Karlach. Personally, I’d prefer to go with Karlach, but at the same time, I’m curious whether continuing with Lae’zel will still let me romance Karlach.

Can I just continue with both of them, or will I have to choose now?

(In terms of where I’m at, I’m at the second time you’re getting physical with Lae’zel. Haven’t gone ahead with it just yet, but about to.)

From what I understand there are stages of relationship where it is casual at first in act 1 for some of them. At that point it isn't too dangerous unless they speak out and mention frustration.

you’ll have to eventually lock in a romance, can only fully romance one origin character

Lae'zel is romanceable early game and while a bit cold and violent in the beginning, she warms up a bit later on. Karlach is adorable and takes a while to progress the romance due to her heart issues. You can't romance both through the whole game (polyamory). I'm pretty sure you can romance Lae'zel first while flirting with Karlach, then break up with Lae'zel for Karlach, though since Karlach says something like she understands how you might want to find companionship with others until she's fixed. But I haven't tried it unmodded, so can't say for sure. Lae'zel HAS to be romanced first though since she seems to be offended at being your second choice. There is a mod that will let you romance both (and others) all the way through the game that removes the limitations. Other than that, I think you've got to make a final choice no later than sometime in Act 2.

Righto then. I’ll take what’s been given, and maybe I should have a look at that mod.
