Sharing links to websites with mods for the game in question? What's normal about being mad over something so trivial?
I think it's more the fact they get repeated ad nauseum than the general sharing. Imagine seeing the same hair mod get posted over and over again
You guys don't enjoy the threads like "Where can I download X mod that isn't on nexus? I promise I don't know of any UwU xD" (there's several links in their posting history).
Which leads into a circle jerk of the same 2/3 links, from the same handful of people.
And the fact that you're pushing away from nexus inclines me to believe it's because nexus wouldn't host them.
You really gonna be that transparent? I'm all for freedom of expression but "Wowee zowie this hot new mod site makes the game so much better" when it's just stuff like 'Make Aylin a man' is talking out your ass.
Stop being a mouthpiece for your ideologies.
Come on even the weird ones aren't THAT bad
You see, an important military official will download a BG3 mod (specifically) with malware made by some individual who will then launch the nukes and cause ww3 to officially start

It appears most of them were unable to enjoy the game over things that most people wouldn't even bat an eye over, like "Fist Silena at the South Span Checkpoint to Wyrm's Crossing has vitiligo" or "mention of his husband/her wife".
It's kind of distressing that some people are this extreme towards inclusion this light, but then again, that's precisely why we need it.
What is also not factually true is that mods frequently break or corrupt saved games. My wife and I use 55 mods in our co-op game, and I use 80 in my personal game, and have never once experienced game corruption due to a mod... but then we are diligent, not lazy, and check for mod updates (a) after every single game patch and (b) before every play session. Oh, and we carefully avoid mods that are not being maintained or have a significant history of issues or conflicts with other mods.
This is an incomplete truth: while Larian doesn't publicly "support" modding, they are fully aware of and tolerate it, to the point of recording every single mod being used in the saved game (meta.lsx) and warning the player of potential issues if one of those recorded is later removed.
That isn't full absence of support, even if their motive is to cover their own asses (support-wise).
As others have said, your post reeks of (self-)promotion. I've been modding games for over 40 years - starting with BOARD games - and I've never heard of this site. You say it hosts "a bunch" of BG3 mods, yet NexusMods.com alone has orders of magnitude more, as well as a mod manager tailor-made to work with the site and the mods it hosts. I also can't help wondering if some or all of those mods are copied from other sites without permission. I know that I can trust NexusMods.com (at least as far as I can spit), but a site like the one you promote I cannot.
One person had a problem with it, but even then the modders didn't change it. Bad argument lol.
Indeed mods are for people who wish to enjoy the game more in different ways, that's er, the point. To optionally customise their OWN entertainment.
The political brainwashing seems to be making a big deal out of that, writing media articles and calling them names (and even libelling innocent people). I don't currently see any of those people petitioning Larian to change the base game or going out and conducting actions in real life because of those things, only downloading a mod so they enjoy the game more. We can approve or disapprove of that of course but it doesn't matter, if they enjoy THEIR game more because of those mods, then good for them! You can also install mods that YOU enjoy (or play the base game as it is) and good for you!
