Does Rolan die if you don't convince him to stay?

if rolan leaves in act 1 he just goes straight to where he usually is in act 3.

If I recall correctly , Rolan isnt the one you need to worry about. Rolan is tied to some other tieflings that escape the grove, some kids and such. If you dont make him stay around you will lose them.

Better to make him stay if your after the full save.

I guess that means other tieflings will die, considering Rolan with his siblings will save a bunch of them if they're convinced to stay.

perhaps some other tieflings will die if he leaves, as far as I've raed you will not have achievement if you will not convince him, but haven't tested

I did persuade him to leave before I sacked the Grove with Minthara. Later on, I find his projection where he stated that if I am watching this, he is dead.

So his fate is quite tied to the other tieflings regardless whether he stays or leaves.
