Avoid Wyll's romance?

Title, I just had to break the dudes heart because even though I never used him outside of the camp he still donned the dancing shoes and looked like a sad puppy when I declined. Is there really no way to just be friends with him? Due to the christmas cinematic I thought he had it in for Mizora, not the tav (without doing specific things to make him like you).

I think the scene plays out a bit better if you accept dancing with him, but turn away from him kissing you. He has a mature conversation about it the next morning that really helps solidify just being friends more so than just rejecting dancing with him altogether.

The only other thing I think you could do is avoid gaining approval with him (which doesn't help with the good friends vibes).

You know, saying "no" to him is how you stay friends. Is it really that hard of a concept to grasp? Sure he's disappointed for a sec, but you're still friends. What's up with people, negative social skills?

Unfortunately, no. Otherwise the 1% of the player base will be very unhappy that you have a choice to avoid experiencing something they call "diversity", whatever that is.

However, you might want to look into the "No alphabet" mod, which is extremely popular now.

Saying no to someone is fine.

The guy who literally met me yesterday crying in front of me just because i said no is dumb.

I said no to astarion as well, he was not freaky with it.

He does act a bit like a sad puppy, for a total of 1 dialogue, after which he's just... regular friendly wyll.

Dude literally wasn't that sad when he agreed to sign his fathers life away, which i think was one of the dumbest quests in the game for many reasons but thats not the point.

The game has quite a lot of dumb, poor writing. But don't you dare to criticize any of it, especially if it is related to... well, we all know what. Some very sensitive people here might get very emotional! :D
