No Epilogue...?

So, after the last update, where they bragged and bragged about an epilogue for the game game... there isn't one at all? no after-credits scene whatsoever.

In my first two playthroughs, I went down to the docks, got some resolution with the crew, and was relatively pleased.

This time (DUrge playthrough; steered into the Urge)... nothing. There was the scenes over the skies of Baldur's Gate immediately after the final boss, then the credits then... nothing.

I am not running any mods, my game is up to date... does this one path just NOT get an actual epilogue...?

So far the only people who seem to have trouble triggering epilogues had mods

is that the Bhaal ending ? there is no epilogue for controlling the brain :(

From what I've read, the Dark Urge can have special (or not so special) endings.

Well... that's a bit disappointing, but yes, this is the exact situation. Thanks for the response.

i know there's two different unique endings for accepting Bhaal.

if you accept and control the brain, you get the Bhaal ending, which you just got.

if you accept but destroy the brain, you do not get the epilogue party. you just a short unique scene that takes place during the party

All I got was sitting on the throne, with the rest of my party (evidently mind controlled?) dancing on top of the brain with some intellect devourers... and that was it. I waited for the credits to roll... and back to the main screen.

that is the Bhaal ending :P no epilogue for controlling the brain

for Durge, the only way to get an epilogue is to reject Bhaal and destroy the brain.
