does this game work on windows 7?

before people start whining i belong to a group of over 600 windows 7 users who play steam games. would like to know if i can get this game to run or grab a mod online like elden rings. i also have a steam deck, but my 9+ year old pc runs far better. so would much rather play on it.
so can i get it to run on 7

It runs on Windows 7 64 bit for me. I have a 1060 gtx with 6 gigs of memory and 16 gigs of system ram. I am limited to the last supported graphics driver which is quite old now but game works well on Vulkan. I can't use the larian launcher however as it refuses to start so I have to start the game from the exe by holding down shift to give myself admin privileges. Then it works. I have the GOG version.

the core diffs in 11 vs 7 are mostly security and cosmetics, trying to make a PC a phone stuff, etc. The actual OS is still the same old win 64 core give or take a few relatively minor things. Most stuff will work on 7 for some time to come, in other words, but you may be banging your head when you run into driver support problems for bleeding edge games. That isn't the game, its your hardware, and whether it has an up to date driver for the older OS or not.

Ironically I believe win7 can run a win11 vm :) Most people would do it the other way around, but hey, its your setup.

That said this game being DX11 and Vulkan should run no problem.
