Who here think's Lae'zel romance is one of the best?

I just got the Act 3 scene and I loved it.

The only other romance I have done is Astarion and even though he plays the damaged reformed-bad-boy very well -- this one just feels honest and wholesome.

Laezel's romance was the most straight one, with Shadowheart she just was lost in my opinion, and for Karlach her ending was just kinda sad tbh.

Lae'zel's whole story is the best, IMO. I know a lot of people can't stand her because when you first meet her she is abrasive and dismissive of you. But if you show your courage and resolution to her, she admires you for it even when she disagrees with your choices. And eventually you can change her whole outlook on life, love, respect for others, etc.

IMO it's far better than the standard waifu stuff you get from Shadowheart. (I haven't really done any of the other romances.)

I like Laezel's romance most. She has a lot of development through the game, from obnoxious to kind and mature.

In my most recent playthrough, my sorcerer hit Lae'zel with a "hold person" and she never even got off a single attack. I taught her who was who in terms of our relative fighting prowess.

My Laezel is by far my strongest char so she just got close and one shot me with her sword lol. And she was like... how could I have hurt.. why do I care.... and I was like *poker face*

One time during that fight Lae'zel had the iron ball in her inventory and she threw it, releasing a damn beholder into the middle of our camp! It was hilarious, of course, but I reloaded that save and took it out of her inventory before we went to bed for the night.

That's the kind of emergent gameplay that bg3 is so good at.
