In that case just ask yourself: do you want to mod the game or not? If not, go for Playstation 5 version. You cannot go wrong with either. Because the controller mode is that good. By the end of the day it is a matter of personal preference.
2. Future compatibility. Yes consoles have become better about it, but on PC it's always been normal that you can play games on future systems. Yes, there are exceptions, yes DOS Games need dosbox, which is not running the game natively, but are consoles even nearly in the same state? (I honestly don't know, my last console was the original Playstation)
3. With steamlink etc the pc can cover pretty much all the same scenarios you'd classically use a console for. Ig you have a smarttv just use steamlink to stream the game to your massive tv from your pc...
I've even used steamlink + chromecast + bluetooth controller to play remotely on the big tv when I was "babysitting" my son at my ex's home...
