Can't place the ceremonial weapons to get the Blood of Lathander

I've placed the warhammer and the greataxe at the correct alters (I had to look it up to be sure) and they all light up as they should, but then for the last alter for danmaster stockhold, a tutorial says I can place whatever weapon, but I've tried five completely different weapons at this point, and all that happens is that my Dark Urge gets knocked out. What am I missing here? xD

It doesn't have to be the ceremony mace specially but "any mace" rather then any weapon, probably just forgot clarification. He has a grave on a hill behind the area to, also has a mace it's also the clue to what belongs on his alter.

just kill the kobolds, they are fairly easy to find. But yeah, op clearly misread something. it has to be a mace.
