Let's ask Larian to make the character True Soul Nere as a companion

There is every reason for him to become a companion, but for some reason Larian was too lazy to make him a companion. Or even make him in the form of DLS, as a character with a different beginning.
Give the Larians an idea like yours?

Ok ignoring the fact that wanting a Nere companion is probably an unpopular opinion among fans, why do you think this was "Larian was too lazy" and not simply that they never wanted to do such a thing lol?

Nothing too exciting. he is more helpful, still acts and talks like a preek, but gives you something you can get by other means anyways.
Or spoiler version: he will just say his stuff and leave, gives you a moonlantern to get you started on shadowlands, tells you (actually orders you) to go to monnrise towers and report the events here.

The amount of entitlement and ignorance in this post is mind boggling. You insult the entire team by calling them "lazy" while demanding they spend a lot of money to shoehorn in a side character with 0 redeeming qualities just because you like them.

But hey, if you want to bank roll the endeavor then it's a lot less absurd. You do have a bunch of money to burn, right? Because you're going to have to get the dev team to code, writers to come up with dialogue, and a bunch of VAs to record lines since we need interaction between Nere and the others companions and NPCs.

It's totally doable, but you're going to have to pay and not get anything in return.
