Withers not letting me revive a main character companion
Being the idiot I am I decided that I would kill Shadowheart when Lae'zel found out she had the artifact, I obviously regret doing that but I went to Withers to see if he could revive a companion like he says he can but there isn't an option to revive a companion only to recruit hirelings and change my class. Is this a bug or a game mechanic I am missing?

Some deaths are permanent.

Example: putting a stake through Astarions heart means he can't be brought back.

Story deaths usually means they are gone forever.

Withers is there to revive companions fallen in combat, not to reverse mistakes and bad choices you made.

Can you not use a Scroll of Revivify on her?

What do you mean by "...main character companion..."? Are you using Mods or playing Multi-Player?

Can you provide more details? When did you kill her? How did you kill her? Did you throw her corpse into chasm?

My guess is that you may have killed her before she became your companion so Wither couldn't revive her. Similar to how if you kill Kalarch before she agree to be a part of your team, you can't ask Wither to revive her at all. In such case, you may have to return to her corpse to use a scroll of Revivify

When you chose to turn on Shadowheart she was no longer a companion and now can't be revived.
Alright thank you for the help, I will now be restarting my playthrough (This isn't the only bad decision I've made lol)
