I basically set aside a much bigger portion of savings for this years winter sale, so i can afford it, i just wanted a min 25%. Was too hopeful.

I got a huge 150ish wishlist i gotta check through first and then decide, im probably 70% likely to get this anyway.

Their last two games didn't reach 25% off till well over a year after release.

was hoping for more but they had stated we wouldn't get a sale even after a year, so the fact that its 10% off during this sale is great.

Will eventually be even cheaper, just requires waiting for it. But for now, 10% may be the best price we get for a long time

I liked divinity 2 and its been years, and its been over 15 since i last played neverwinter nights 1 & 2.

I even played the side scrolling dungeons and dragons at the arcade in the early 90s, im that old lol.

I recently watched that D&D movie, thought it was really funny and idk it inspired me.

It'll probably take longer than 3 months. Larian's last game took over a year to go below 10%, and BG3 is infinitely more successful.

Yea it’s like they don’t want to do a discount at all. I get it is a top seller and was nominated as game of the year and is somewhat new. But what’s the point of having it on sale if the price reduction is minimal?

Because people kept whining they wanted a sale, but they at least somewhat know their worth...honestly even the 10% off is underselling at this point...

Many people who were "waiting for a sale" just wanted the endorphin-rush of seeing "-x% off" and weren't actually trying to save any money. Welcome to 90% of people who "shop sales;" it's an addiction more than it is practicality.
