Are they ever going to fix Jumping?
Every single time I have to jump from one platform to the next is when 2-3 of my companions get stuck, I'll switch over to the stuck companions only to have the ones that did make the jump to jump back to the previous platform. Like god ♥♥♥♥♥ damn.

The next companion that doesn't ♥♥♥♥♥ make the jump will be perma killed first chance I get

Heh. Jumping pathfollowing kinda sucks. Split your party. Jump one at a time when that happens - and it happens.

As soon as you jump, move on a bit so there is room for the rest. If some still remain, try using the Ungroup/Group button. That will often prompt them to make the jump. Last resort, ungroup the one(s) left behind, THEN select them and jump them manually.

For my part, if I am just going for loot or scouting, I will ungroup one and just go with him/her. Leaving the rest waiting until returned.

Lots of options and solutions. Much better than getting all worked up into a snit over a trifle.
Jumping works just fine, pathfinding on the other hand ....

I've tried that, and Lae'zel is the one out of the bunch who usually refuses to jump despite her having the highest STR in the group which should increase her jumping distance.

It's just tedious having to constantly un-group each time, especially if theres fall damage involved.
sometimes it helps to double press G to unlock and lock the party and the bugged companions make their jump. but it doesn’t always work
If you jump again after you land to a spot right beside you, they will probably try again to jump
After jumping, move forward a bit to give room for others. If others are still stuck, select a different character that has already jumped, this often makes the others then jump.

And as others have said, if you end up with a few still stuck, unchain or ungroup the ones that have made it already, then manually jump the others.

Switching to a companion that refuses to jump and then back to my MC with the F1-F4 keys usually resolves the issue for me and is the quickest. Though. in some cases it doesn't work, and I still have to ungroup and jump manually.
This can be a damn nuisance. It doesn't happen that often mercifully if you figure out how reduce it. I'm not sure but I think one of the issues is that the characters get in the way of each other and when one stands on the jump off point the others can no longer find a path to a position within range were the jump is still possible for them so the order just "switches off". That's why point 1 below helps.

Tips to reduce the pain:

1. Always select your worst jumper to make the first jump. If they can make it the others usually can too since they probably don't need to get quite so close to the landing spot. You have to force yourself to get into the habit of doing this.

2. When they get over immediately move them away from the landing zone to clear it for the others. I think if they stand on the closest landing spot sometimes this can make the jump beyond the range of some the others.

3. If anyone fails to follow then always unchain the party before manually bringing the stragglers over. That way those that made the jump won't start jumping back again. You need to force yourself to remember to do this (and you kinda resent the game for forcing you to do it) but eventually it will become habit and no biggie.

4. For difficult jumps it's sometimes better to cut your losses and unchain the party before making the attempt at all, take 'em over individually one at a time, buff 'em if necessary.

Press G twice, fixes pathing alot of the time
Change to one of them that managed the jump, make a little space and the other most often follow, or ungroup the ones that didn't manage and let them jump over manually. The problem is just that some especially your not strength based have less jumping power so give them boots that give them extra distance. Or just give your caster and so on illithid powers and they will cast fly all the time and will manage it this way.

I'm guessing never. And yea, it's ridiculous.

This and not being able to click through doors to walk through them without moving the camera past them are the most annoying things about this game to me. I didn't know about the group/ungroup thing tho, i'll have to remember that next time they forget they got legs.
jump once. let them follow. jump again let them follow.

unlock and relock the party to reset their pathfinding and sometimes they fix themselves without ever having to switch. I very rarely control other party members other than tav outside of combat.
