AoE otherwise. I like ice storms or plant growths, since both slow down stuff, and both can be altered for other effects. Can melt the ice for water for electric attacks or burn the plant growth for a little extra fire damage.
Trying to force mobs to come to you helps if you can find a choke point. Less guessing.
Also sometimes if you watch where the screen jumps to it can give away about where the mob is. I have often fired exploding arrows right at the ground where it seemed the screen moved to for when the invisible mob was moving.

Just another thing Larian changed. The dedicated spell to literally See Invisibility doesn't get the job done, but you can cheese it with any cheap AoO.
