Is the Tiefling a good race to pick If i'm going to be a sorcerer, or a wizard.

Tieflings are pretty damn good for most builds, they get a lotta neat racial features. They aren't S tier, but they are very good for most things.

It doesn't matter. The way fifth edition is set up any race can be anything without issue. Pick whatever you think is coolest.

Races don’t really make a big difference in this game. They have some small benefits listed in character creation but it’s mostly just flavour to get you in the mood to rp
