Customizable Names for Backpacks and Pouches

Since I stuff lots of books, letters, keys, etc. into the various backpacks and pouches I collect, it would be nice if I could customize the names of individual backpacks so as to easily identify what specifically goes in them. Good quality of life improvement.

I would be happy if the dang bags would remember their settings, auto-stack, and auto-sort.

Names would be nice, but functionality and QOL would be better, for me.

Not only that but make them filters too... scroll bag? every scroll you pick up goes to that bag... Larian I need this pleaseeeee.

It's a simple change that has already been implemented in mods but would be massive for the base game imo. xD

There is a mechanic present for stuff like this. There are also mechanics that recognize many different types of inventory beyond auto-storing bags.

I'd love it if Larian would expand on it. I'm sure modders will take up the (perceived?) slack, but I'd still like if Larian gave us some customization since there are systems already there. (Of course, modders won't get slammed in their pocketbooks without QA while Larian will.)

We will probably need to rely on mods for this but I agree we need it. I sort things like arrows, scrolls, throwables, and potions into pouches and backpacks on my characters and then link those on the hotbar, it would be nice to have all these named. I also have a bunch of extras in storage in the camp chest and it gets real messy trying to sort it all after a few big fights
