Since it's optional, I guess I would say is has far less than some games where the romance is part of the story (if you can call calculator romance as romance).
Eh... let us go with yes.
Romance is the least which matters in the game. Right after rope.
As for how much BG3 specifically has compared to other RPGs, depends on the RPG and honestly I don't see how you could quantify this in any objective way. Based on how optional the romances are? How much of the dialogue lines are dedicated to it? Number of different romances possible?
Yes I guess.
Imagine a over sexed gay count chocola with creepy x girlfriend vibes.
Also your camp serves as the biggest swingers club in the world. Its very similar to the writings of a misguided teen whos never had a relationship and is writing fan fiction and its the "BESTEST EVAR"
+2 other companions that you find during your run.
And you can have some sexy time with a succubus and some people in a brothel.
As someone who plays actual dating sims, this is pretty much nothing compared to a game that actually is all about harrassing (talking to them every chance you get) and stalking characters (learning what locations to go to in order to trigger encounters) while building your stats to fit their ideal image to get them to like you. I put a lot of headcanon for my pairings in this game because the romance scenes are so spaced out for a proper relationship development.
Also I'm not knocking dating sims. I'm just being tongue-in-cheek on how many of them focus more on "relationship development" compared to engaging gameplay or overall story.
You look like hentai tentacle porn?
I'm afraid you just fell for the bait.
