Not sure where that quote is from, but who is the governing body that determined the term 'cisgender' is an accepted term? It doesn't matter if it's considered 'neutral' in the sense that it currently does not have negativity in the roots of the word itself. What matters is the acceptance. What is correct is that such a term can become a slur over time.

lol so a socially constructed source. You know how many trendy and slang words can now be found in the dictionary? Dictionaries (such as these) don't determine acceptance. They just provide a definition as it's used in general society.
Its the only source I'm able to find thats not drowned by either quora articles or "ElOn mUSK" spam. However, the site is able to provide a definition as its used in general society, and its common usage.
Again, the answer is obvious. If you do not wish to be referred to as cis due to believing it to be a slur. Simply do not refer to people as transgender unless you are: Writing a paper, about to date a trans person, or are in a medical field and you need to know for important medical reasons (important as in to deal with medicines or anything you'd need to know for a different system. Typically don't need to worry about it for something about a broken leg, unless morphine counts I suppose?)
Oh yeah, because conceding, bowing and apologising to the far left always works out so well, they're so magnanimous in victory. I can't name a single person who ever apologised and bowed to the mob where they didn't just rush him and kick them while they're down. Give them any concession, and they will immediately demand more.
Even when they get exactly what they want or even more than they wanted, they just keep on fighting anyway. They wanted more African-Americans represented on screen (which was fair), they not only got it, but African-Americans ended up the most overrepresented demographic in both movies and on TV, and the far left didn't even notice and still just say "more".
If people stopped using trans, cishet would still be used as a slur.
I doubt you can name a single person in the opposite category either, so what now.
Case in point. We're fair game because we're in the "oppressor group". This is what most of them really want to say, that they can say or do whatever they like to us, because we're not individuals, we're a powerful majority. And if we dare to fight back or even just defend ourselves, then they can break out the heavy artillery; racist, bigot, phobe etc.
If you actually feel that way why the ♥♥♥♥ are you here
Yes. Glad we agree.
Well yeah, people are complicated as ♥♥♥♥. We're ran by overworked meat computers that are needing to evolve quicker than they should be (we went from being aware of our immediate area and potentially country, to being able to see war footage across the world in real time within less than 100 years)
What, as in a far left person apologising? When has that ever happened? The only people they ever apologise to is each other, at which point they get cannibalised.
1) White people are still the most predominantly represented actors in media, both behind and on the screen.
2) If by over-representation you mean by proportion to real life racial distribution, I don't really see the issue so long as its not coming at the cost of other ethnicity being represented.
Who is using cis as a slur? Its a scientific term.
