What music do you listen to while playing?
The soundtrack is great, but after a while I like to mute it and throw on Danheim, Heilung, or some other Viking inspired tunes for the background mood. And if you just listen to the soundtrack that's cool too.

No complaints there, I dig it. Though anything in English I can't listen to as background music as I start jamming out with it. If there aren't any lyrics or as with Danheim and Heilung I've no idea what they're saying so I can focus on playing the game without losing focus to the music.

Slightly unrelated, but I've been listening to a lot of Spiritbox lately for other games.

For games like BG3 I'll generally only listen to the game music.

Last I used variouse space music for Endless Sky, usually I listen to the games music unless they don't have one.

I usually watch youtube or twitch on my other monitor. I'm one of those people that can't just do one thing at once, I need to be watching a movie or some kind of video while I play games or read a book.

First run through I listen to the game music, after that I usually have something like Blut Aus Nord on and then switch to something more aggressive for fights, like Septic Flesh

You gonna laugh. but disturbed and avenged seven fold makes for great battle music

I don't typically listen to my own music in games like this that are narrative driven, but any multiplayer game or something like monster hunter where I can lock in, its been a mix of Sleep Token, Movements, ERRA, Dance Gavin Dance and Thornhill lately.

Heilung is brilliant for Act 2. I never really listened to music outside what the game has to offer, but I might just try this.
