No idea what your problem is. You can choose not to buy that stuff.
absolutely senseless greed
I still do not see ANY problem there.
a) if you do not want those stuff, which are not of much value to begin with, you just do not buy
b) if you are a collector, then you do not want to open it to begin with as you keep stuff in mint condition anyroads
Anything inbetween seems savage to me.
one can collect and open stuff, pretty wild i know
That is your personal opinion and therefore your personal problem.
You can choose not to be greedy.
Mhm. If I recall it right Blizzard did it and also Bethesda. With basically "Collector Edition stuff" without the actual game.
And yeah, for the Collector's Edition it was like that, that you got a code separately. I saw on ebay quite a bunch who did what you described.
I doubted at first that the same handling applies to the Deluxe Edition, but in another thread a player got confirmation from Larian Support it is supposed to be like that again.
You are reading to much into it with wrong assumptions. You are not forced to buy the collectors or deluxe edition, unlike your thinking.
Remember that.
larian is forcing me to buy another copy if i want the collectibles, what part do you not understand?
Im not assuming anything, its a fact, they could have made separate versions for people to buy who already own it, they chose not to cause they want to sell more copies.
