Can I Avoid the Nudity?

Thinking about buying BG3, but have 4 kids at home that have this odd behavior of liking me and wanting to be next to me. Based on what I've seen of this game, I'm likely to be forced into the nudity and strong sexual content even if I try to avoid it. Thoughts?

You can turn it off the first time you launch it (and in the settings). But that's nudity. You get plenty of other stuff apart from nudity you really don't want kids to see. Viscera, brutal murders in full cinematic shots, etc.

As for sexual content - well. You will need to turn every companion down, the "romances" are rather unhinged in this game and you'll trigger them without even realising. And I'm pretty sure the nudity checkbox in the settings doesn't tone down the language they use when approaching and talking about the issue.

So if you don't want to explain your kids why that druid wants intimacy in his wild shape - you better steer clear off any romance and watch diligently when your kids play the game.

Yes. I have never seen nudity. When game first launches it bring an option to toggle nudity.

There's an option to turn it off. But if nudity bothers you and murder doesn't that's weird.

The mature themes extend beyond just nudity and sexual content.

you can deny every single sexual scene in the game if you wish, and nudity for the characters only happens if you remove armor and underwear. im not sure how to avoid every sexual "implication" such as when you go to hell, there are some imagery/conversations that seem sexual but definitely not explicit. you should be fine regardless

Yes. There are three options to disable in the game settings.

To avoid any 'imperial entanglements', maintain a combat adventurer's camp and don't engage in shenanigans. :)

You can turn off the nudity but there is still a lot of violence that children shouldn't see. The story also has a lot of death and bad things happening.. probably best if they watch Paw Patrol.

Yes turn it off at start, they need such an option for streamers. It's pretty easy to avoid romances by just not asking romance triggering questions.

Yeah, the bigger problem is the very graphic nature of many scenes in this game. Nudity is just a simple toggle.

Yes, seriously, nudity and sex are the least of your concerns. You'll face torture, slavery, substance abuse and all sorts of very graphical violence. Be careful..

I find peoples priorities very odd. Nudity is not ok but killing and blood/gore is ok? we live in a very weird time.

Avoid it? Lol it’s the main selling point of this game, if you don’t like nudity you should play it at all
