Did both in a run. No issues.
I don't like the Goblins and I don't wanna come off as goody goody and help the refugees.
I am rping a Dark Urge that gives in.
By the by I also don't like the Drow lady. :P
I killed Karlach in cold blood.
hmm.. that means I could lose a lot of xp and loot..
maybe I should help the druids just out of necessity?
I wouldn't worry about XP. You'll reach the level cap long before the end of the game if you do all the content available - even with missing quests. Loot, on the other hand - definitely. Kill a merchant, they won't sell you stuff. A lot of characters persist throughout all three Acts, and a lot of those are in the Grove. Killing them just removes them from showing up later.
what?
If you want to go for a more evil vibe though. Side with Minthara, betray the tieflings, betray Minthara at the party to kill her and other gobbos. Then backtrack to goblin camp to kill the rest of them. Or to save time, side with Minthara, decimate the goblin camp, then join her at the grove to kill tieflings before killing her and her gobbies at the party.
