there is also little new content for killing her. so letting her live is probably the better choice for you.
Otherwise you will fulfill her indoctrination as a Dark Justiciar, at which point she will be the exact opposite of what a decent person is.
You got this all wrong you see. You have to save her, that way you go swim with Shadowheart. Then you just turn over to Lorrorakan and watch Isobel get murderballed for wearing that hideous eye shadow. Now you never have to listen to Dame A-Hole revel in the idolatry of herself at camp, and you still get Shadowheart. Big win, much happy.
Both works. Killing the nightsong gives her some awesome gear, turning her into a badass War cleric/Paladin.
Also, romance ends if she becomes Dark Juicier.
However, halfway through Act 3, I convinced her to spare her parents and abandon Shar.
I didn't have a "swimming scene" or any other scene of this type.
