Should I Turn Into A Half-Illithid As Evil Dark Urge?
I like the idea of gaining powers but not so much losing my Durge's eyes. He becomes less of a daunting character to look at.

Should you make your own choices in a RPG?

There's a mod that fixes this problem. I absolutely hate the look of the half-illithid, but I enjoy the powers, so I use the mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/773

This isn't negative, that's litteraly what I think RPG are about, making your own decisions and living with them.

I fail to see how asking others to make decisions for you is an enjoyable way to play these kind of games, just play a linear game with no choices instead.

Should I stop saying what I think? I don't think so.

I'll play the game how I feel like it much like how you're allowed to run your mouth. If I want help in making decisions I'm gonna ask for it.

Then we agree to disagree, fine by me. I will still think that's a terrible way to play RPG and you'll keep asking for others to help you make decisions.

You posted on a public forum and complained about people replying.

Smooth.

I think you should back off and mind your own business

If you're not gonna give me a simple resolution to my problem and instead give me a bad answer then don't waste my time.

Look, this all comes down to basic science: being a half-illithid lets you do more murderin', so you should definitely be a half-illithid if you're going the evil Durge route. Its all about the murderin'. So says the big man upstairs. Downstairs?

Just wear a scary mask to offset the cosmetic effect.

Nope. You make one of your slaves, er, sorry "companions" change. Let them go through agonizing pain and live a horrible and empty life should they even survive. And laugh at them.

Technically he made a choice to ask for the help of others. I see your point but you word it like such a nob that it's no surprise you had criticism back.
