What is the class tier list?

I am curious to see what the tier list is for classes, for me the worst class in my opinion is cleric even monk is more useful than cleric because it at least can dodge consistently, Cleric accuracy issues on shadowheart was so bad it immediately made me swap her to pally and she went from being useless outside buffing after that to being a force of nature when she gets close enough to stab with a spear lol. S tier would prob be Fighter and Pally (Paladin) . What do you guys think?

I dont really think dnd classes can be sorted into a tier list. They are all really powerful, just about equally so. Sure subclasses maybe, but plain dnd classes are all really balanced. The exception would be monk and ranger, but bg3 buffs them enough to be about equal with everyone else. It really just depends on how you build your character at what for. Theres no objectively worse classes in this game because subclasses keep everything diverse enough

Nope, that was never a concern ever. Because in tabletop there's a myriad of ways to make interesting characters, solve puzzles and defeat monsters without ever once min/maxing. I go back to the Basic edition. It wasn't until Battletech that table top RPGs had real min / max builds. And that was trying to jam as much firepower in your mech while keeping enough armor to stay alive and enough heat sinks so you could fire every round.

Depends, multiclassing allowed or not?

Also cleric is literally one of the S tier classes easily with or without multiclassing. Its just that shadowheart has the most garbage domain.

A tempest cleric can delete an entire screen with a single cast of chain lightning. Or if you want an unkillable tank you can make her light domain. If you want some healing you can make her life domain. Ofc you will need to alter the clerics build accordingly. For example offensive caster clerics will need high wisdom, while tank and healers don't really need too much wisdom.

Well for BG3 you can objectively list them. But for DnD in general sure they will shine in different types of campaigns.

S: Fighter, Monk
A: Paladin, Barb, Wizard (though this one highly depends on your difficulty, lower in honour mode)
B: Bard, Sorc
C: Cleric, Ranger, Rogue, Warlock (higher tier at low levels)
D: Druid

Not to say lower tier classes can't be extremely powerful, many of them shine as dips or during certain stages of the game to respec into

Is Sorcerer really that weak? I love playing as a sorcerer.

I love how a single level into wizard turns you into an arcmage that can learn any and every spell in the game.

True, though without infinite arcane battery, that one doesn't do as well against single big targets methinks.
Though considering how tanky most fights are, that ones def S too. With higher hp across the board and maybe more resistances + unstoppable, it'd be A to A+ I reckon.

Pure sorc isn't necessarily BAD, they just don't have that much going for them offensively. They are better suited as support/CC casters and excel at that.
