S: Fighter, Monk
A: Paladin, Barb, Wizard (though this one highly depends on your difficulty, lower in honour mode)
B: Bard, Sorc
C: Cleric, Ranger, Rogue, Warlock (higher tier at low levels)
D: Druid
Not to say lower tier classes can't be extremely powerful, many of them shine as dips or during certain stages of the game to respec into
Learning to play Shadowheart as Cleric is not as easy as many other classes and requires some understanding of how the various options that are available synergize in Cleric builds.
I have found a pure Cleric to be extremely useful throughout all 12 levels of progressing to the final fight.
The key thing to understand, I think, is that Clerics in BG3 are NOT primarily healers. Healing should be left up to individual characters using Healing Potions, except in extreme emergencies when the Cleric could spell heal the entire party.
Anyway, that has been my experience with a full Cleric in the party. :)
While all the classes are good in their own way...I think maybe Bard is the weakest? As their shtick is being a jack of all trades, master of none.
Firebolt, her melee and ranged martial options are ass though with the initial spec, so I always fix those right away (and turn her into a light cleric because radiance of the dawn is nutty early on)
For example, Cleric is probably the absolute worst class to mono-class in, but the absolute best to multi-class into.
Rogues are insanely good for exploration because of the extra skills and Expertise, but are the only martial class that doesn't get Extra Attacks with standard actions.
The Thief Subclass, however, has the Fast Hands passive, which gives a free bonus action that can be used on ANYTHING that a bonus action can normally be used for, including stuff like the Berserker's Enraged Throw or the Monk's Flurry of Blows.
I'll get back to you with an actual list, because this is gonna take some thinking lol
