Get yourself somma that drow booty. Halsin is gross and weird anyway so he should be killed off regardless of player morals.
Kill everything, let Bhaal sort them out.
This is why Minthara needs to be an Origin character, so you can start the game from her perspective.
You never really explained how you imagine that working last I asked 😅
I'd settle for the Grove gate fight not being mandatory, playing as a jerk, I would love to have be able to go "eh, not my problem" and just continue past, I really don't get why this was a forced encounter
Only problem is you miss out on Karlach if you do that. You can have both in Act 3 if you keep it in your pants for a minute.
I haven't saved them from anything. They're being nicey nice, but I'm not playing along. The only issue was the Goblin attack, but it seems those gobs weren't tadpoled or something so they didn't recognize Tav Authoritay.
I mean the gate fight is forced, I think that counts as a save even if Zevlor can actually solo it from his position 😅
I just think it's a missed opportunity forcing the exact same starting position for every character.
They could have had a - slightly - different starting point for each origin. Not drastically different, although Minthara's would probably be the most different. Would have made for a more interesting early game.
Then he would work his way to the Goblins, kill all the goblins at blighted village, but recruit and exploit the greed and bloodlust of the ogres, and use them along with your other companions to kill the Goblins and their leaders.
OG Durge was also someone who knew the value of allies and even friends. He would definitely not kill any of the companions, but at the end he would definitely pull a Griffith, and royally ♥♥♥♥ everyone over.
Unless they buff slayer form to how it it when Orin uses it, then there is nothing special you get from that route
I guess the issue with a Minthara path would be that you'd literally have zero reason to party up with any of the other NPCs but other than that, having a Minthara start where you're looking for the crash survivors and planning the Grove attack could have been really interesting.
