So I killed Astarion But can't tell Gandrell.

Playing as a Paladin I killed Astarion for trying to suck my blood during the night. But for some reason I can only answer to Gandrell that "I don't not know where he" is or "I'm not telling you". Is this a bug or am I missing something? (2nd playthrough, first playthrough I had Astarion in my party)

No one has had this happen to them? Can't be the first one to Impale Astarion for trying to suck my blood.

Can't say for sure since I never killed him myself, but I think there just isn't a dialogue option for it

Wierd since you get the alternative to kill him in a "cutscene" before meeting Gandrel (well if you sleep enough before anyway). Oh well, it's not gonna ruin the playthrough, it's just odd or a bug I guess.

Yeah, killing companions, even in intended ways, can get a bit weird XD In my last playthrough I slit Lae'zel's throat and she came back to life in the Mountain Pass, lol (I think that one is supposed to be fixed now though)

May be considered as oathbreaking and you're trying to cover it up. Don't know. Oathbreaking is tricky.

I wouldn't be surprised (even though I of course disagree since he basically attacks me) since i got attacked by goblins, and after 10 min of fighting i kill some random (it seemed) goblin guard and i got the "outhbreaker" status. Like, what? lol. ( i play the compassion oath btw)

Just want to confirm same thing just happened to me. 2nd playthrough as Durge this pt and killed Astarion when he went for my neck. Just ran into Gandrel and it won't let me tell him I already killed him. I understand he wants Astarion alive so maybe there should be an option to admit your kill and this trigger a fight.

I stabbed him but I Crit failed and he ran away and called me a ♥♥♥♥♥, but the rest of the companions assured me I did the right thing.

But yeah I could only tell him that he's in my camp and it treated it like he was still in my party. I did it and nothing came from it. Just bad programming/missing option I guess
