That said, I genuinely do not care if people make a 'no alphabets' mod and upload it wherever and remove queer folk from their game. I think it's kinda stupid and you should probably go play a different game instead of one intended to be queer because that'd prolly be more fun for you, but it's your game and your PC so do whatever. It doesn't change the canon of the game.
The historical and lore innacuracy of calling Faerun medieval and 'queer people wouldn't exist in medieval fantasy' is also annoying personally, but it's whatever, history is poorly taught and lore inaccurate mods are a dime a dozen.
Everyone can edit yes but also each edit is checked to filter fake news. Wikipedia work is based on an open source licence. everything is checkable and I know the topic quite well.
