Last Patch Viewing Companions Inventory in camp bug..
Since last big patch that gave you ability to view Companions not in your party inventories I have ran into an issue.
Right now I have Astarion and Wyll at camp not in my party. When I click on new button to view Companions inventory, ONLY Wylls will open, I have found no way to view Astations. the only other companion not in party inventory. Am I doing something wrong or missing something?
Thank you

Running any mods and singleplayer or multiplayer? I think specifically Asterion is bugged and never shows up.

Do you not have the portraits on top of that window where you just click on the portrait whose inventory you want to view?

That thing works like a charm for me, no complaints (other than it'd be nice to have a button/possibility to level them up too).

The game does this when you accept a companion to join your camp without them ever being in your active party, so they go "unregistered" by the game's systems.

Which is also why the game won't award any approvals when you talk to them.

To fix it just let him join the party for a moment and you should see him.

Untrue, in a 4 player coop game we never recruited a single companion and only Asterion can't be accessed this way. We didn't even free Shadowheart.

Could be just affecting a few companions in that case, because I also noticed the same behavior with Halsin and he wasn't showing up until I pulled him into an active party at least once.

Could that be that Halsin for the majority of his existence remains in your camp but not as an actual companion? I dunno, the whole things seems a little buggy.

Thank you all. It was fixed like some suggested by bringing each person into the party than back out. Thank you

No this isn't true because I've tested this and have had Karlach and Laezel in my party for good part of act 2, and just recently rotated them out and and replaced them with others. the only one that comes up for me is Gale and he's still 2nd level. I think I took him raised him and then dumped him the first time we went to camp. As for Astarion I just sent him to camp where he stays. But just verified the only Gale will appear when I try it.

Have you tried Inviting them back into party and removing them, each one. I think I long rested afterwards also, and it started working just fine. Maybe the patch reset something and everyone got removed but one in some tracking system in the programming.
