I don't have stutters unless transition to a new area, nor low FPS. Most stuff is high / ultra.
Maybe something else going on with you. Are you watching videos on chrome in the background?
You didn't mention what resolution you're playing at
Try activating AMD FSR, that is reportedly giving a huge boost.
Weird
BG3 is less demanding than CP2077, in no case you should have worse framerates at more or less equivalent detail settings
I have set it to 1080p, and everything to high, textures even on highest setting and I have constantly max frames which means 50 because I have limited it to this. No stutters at all.
I use an over 13 years old cpu I5-3570K which I have slighlty overclocked from 3.4 to 4.2 Ghz and ancient 1333Mhz DDR3Ram which I have oc to 1666Mhz and the game is of course installed on a SSD.
This game is cpu hungry. Your graphics card though is more than enough for it as long as you don´t set the resolution too high.
What kind of I7 cpu do you have?
Not even close to good enough for Medium graphics in BG3. :(
Also, you need to be running BG3 from an SSD if not doing so already.
They have been working on performance week by week. But I don't think your current system will ever be able to run BG3 any better than Low and still have acceptable frame rates.
I would recommend upgrading to at least an RTX 4060, and a game SSD if you don't already have one. With a 4060 you can enable DLSS and on a 1080p monitor can achieve some decent frame rates.
That is the biggest nonsense I have read in a long time. Absolutely ridiculous.
By all means, enlighten us as to how to achieve 60 fps on a 1060 using Medium graphics.
Instead of just spouting drivel that is not the least bit helpful or useful to anyone.
Have a nice day
And it is not the first time I have seen you post useless and unhelpful 'information' about how good your stuff is and offering zero help to the folks having problems. No one really cares how good YOUR system runs.
You are correct here. If OP is trying to run 1440p or greater, that can also impact performance with an older card.
There is no way you get 60 FPS on high with an 8 year old low level GPU that costed about $200.Even the developer lists it at minimum level. NVidia levels 50-entry 60 low 70 mid 80 enthusiast and now 90 elite.
