Throw a weapon with a controller

Shadowheart found a legendary trident that can be thrown. It does elemental damage, then returns to her. How can I do that with a controller? I only have main hand attack...and when editing the dials, I don't find the option to throw the weapon...I have to go to character -> select the weapon -> actions -> throw weapon.

How can I throw it from the action dials?

You have the throw icon in your hotbar bu default.

But it's the "throw a character" icon

Thrown weapons are no different than any other object when it comes to throwing them. Green action wedge of a hand holding a stone. You're probably expecting to be on the wheel with your other combat actions, it won't be. RB over to where Disengage/Dash is and it will be there. You select the weapon the same way you select any other throwable in your inventory so there may be a lot of wheels to shift through to find it.
