Origins Human Companions Can't Switch their Proficiency Skill When Respec, Is always Persuasion

Who were your selecting? Some proficiency traits are racial and obviously cannot be changed out for something else.

I have this too. Not just the Origin characters, but also the human player character.
Was working fine this patch until the game crashed a few times and now I can't change their bonus proficiency skill... even on pre-patch 5 saves.

As Ironwu wrote correctly, racial stuff like that cannot be changed. Same goes for Shadowheart's racial cantrip selection.

Before this patch u could change It, not the racial cantrip (always been the fire one) but yes the proficienci skill from humans (now is ALWAYS persuasiok with all the humans. Anoying.

You could change the bonus proficiency skill before on all Human characters.
The only thing Respec does not change is Background and Race (high elf cantrips are tied to Race), every other thing is modifiable (see other races and their racial bonuses).

U mean before this patch right? Now in this patch is bugged

Most likely before Patch 5, but a Hotfix could have introduced the bug too. Have no way to test this as I was away from the game for the past week.
Either way, I recommend going to Larian's Bug Report page and submit this issue.

Got a reply from Larian:
This is a known issue that the team is currently looking into. We're constantly rolling out hotfixes and patches over the coming weeks and months, but unfortunately this issue isn't currently solved.

In the meantime, know that we're working on this problem and we hope to have a fix on the way to you soon.
